  1. While there isn't going to be an official UK Patriots event this year, a bunch of us have decided to go to The Broadleaf, at the bottom of what used to be called the NatWest Tower. See here for details and a link to buy tickets (£10 each). https://broadleaflondon.com/superbowl/ Be good if we could get some more UK Patriots in there...
  2. It was an unforgettable trip for me and the missus as first-timers Mandy, thank you very much for all your efforts.
  3. Myself and Mrs D are in the hotel Saturday and Sunday, so yes, car place if possible please.
  4. Ok, I'm all booked up - cash sent to Mandy. Me and Mrs Deadly arriving late Thursday, staying in central Boston Thursday & Friday nights, moving to Norwood for Saturday & Sunday (thanks Howie), then back to town for Monday, flying out Tuesday afternoon. Woo hoo ! Finally happening...pumped !
  5. Mmm. Wife's birthday. She is a Patriots fan though. Let the negotiations begin !
  6. I am definitely interested whichever game it is - been waiting for the right circumstances for years and I finally have a) cash b) leave c) no competing events and d) kids old enough to leave at home.
  7. White Hart Lane is ten minutes on the train for me, go past it on my daily commute, so me and Mrs Deadly (who comes to every game) would be up for that. It's "only" going to be 60,000 capacity, so tickets might be scarce once you take out Spurs and NFLUK Season Ticket holders.
  8. Clearly me switching to white wine to numb the pain was the deciding factor...
  9. Engineering works are still on, so anyone coming into Euston, Kings Cross, St Pancras or Liverpool Street will have to get the Victoria or Central line to Oxford Circus and pick up the Bakerloo line there.
  10. That's a relief. Had a horrific bus journey across town in prospect.
  11. Just a little warning - there are engineering works on the Metropolitan/Circle/Hammersmith & City line between Baker St and Aldgate this weekend AND a possible RMT strike starting at 1800 on Sunday. Have alternative plans and extra time factored in.
  12. Chris, I watched the Superbowl in Sydney once - Broncos v Falcons in 1999. Felt very odd watching at that time of day !
  13. I'm in again Mark - email address as per last year but will PM you just in case.
