It amazes me the support our team gets! I'm from just outside Boston and have been to a party in Arizona for Patriots fan club but this takes the cake! 6 of us coming to party with our PATRIOTS from across the pond! The most anticipated trip of our lives! I can not even find a party like this around here..We will see you in 2 weeks! AT 5-1.. peace to all!

GO PATS!!!

Bill

In English, please.

For the benefit of the uneducated (& our american friends), I shall translate:

Baht'at = Without a hat (usually used in the vacinity of Ilkley moor which is somewhere 'oop north. I believe ;) )

I think I'm just going to get my ticket on the door? Do you think this will be okay or would it be safer to buy in advance?

Would advise you to buy in advance if you want to be sure of getting in - we have interest from some large groups travelling in from the US so there may only limited availability on the night anyway.

How many people can the Venue hold? I'm guessing it'll be near to a full house on the night!

500 in the venue.

Recommend everyone pre-registers. See opening post in thread for details.

And FAQ will follow shortly witha lot more answers.

Just to confirm, this is over 18's only?

Sadly have to pass then as I'll be in London with my wife and son that day (his first ever visit so we're doing Tourist stuff), at 11 I don't think he'll be able to sneak in.

Excellent, that's going to be one hell of a party.

I think I'll bring my credit card for the weekend just incase I run out of cash.

Seagull posted this a little earlier in the thread, hope it helps.

There are restrictions regarding u-18s. These will posted in full, and sent out in a general e-mail to everyone who has made an enquiry, over the weekend. I can let you know now though, that all u-18s must be pre-registered and accompanied by a parent/guardian (an older brother/sister/friend will not be sufficient).

There are a very limited number of places available to under 18s as long as they are accompanied by a parent and comply with time guidelines provided by the venue. See the FAQ thread for more details.

Register your interest via tickets@ukpatriots.com as soon as you can and we should be able to accomodate your needs.

Sorry, just one more question:

I'd bring my passport to collect the tickets as proof of who I am and as I have my son there.

Would my wife and friend both need photo ID? Both around 45 and neither could be mistaken for a kid to be honest?

The less ID i can carry around London the better really.

Thank you, i'll copy theirs on my rather handily just purchased copier.

Presume mine would need to be my actual passport though?

Just one last thing. Is neutral gear is OK? Hopefully i'll catch James and get my T at the party.

Neutral colours will be fine.

Is this strictly for Patriots fans ? I may not be a full Patriots fan, but I do like them.

It is a Patriots party, and we are pre-selling to Patriots fans. We do, however, realise that some Pats fans in the UK may want to come with friends who have not yet seen the light. So If a Pats fan wants to bring one non-Pats friend, that's fine by us.

Of course, if there are any tickets not sold in advance, they will be able to be purchased on the door after 6pm on Saturday. If you're in neutral colours, no-one's going to complain.

Is it Patriots colours only ?

Almost .. Red Sox will be allowed of course. BC Eagles maybe. No other NFL team and no soccer team please. And absolutely NO NYY caps - You will be escorted round the corner and thrown into the Trafalgar Square fountains! [/b]

These where from this thread:

Piccadilly is the nearest stop, Stu. Leicester Square is also an option depending on where you're coming from; they're both walking distance.

Follow the crowd Stu, you'll be at the right place, "Woolworths went bust earlier this year"

For those curious, this is what Uncle Bobby looks like in a local bar the Saturday night before a Pats roadgame. ;)

He's photographed here at the PourHouse in Denver yesterday evening.

He's a bit of a legend isn't he!

I wouldn't mind getting my 50th anniversary jersey signed during the Wembley weekend if we bump into anyone famous.

On past record, I would have thought it's a pretty fair bet the Krafts will put in an appearance. ISTM Uncle Bob is a fan first and foremost and likes the company of other fans, perhaps all the more so when they support the team from well outside New England.

I don't want to sound uppity, but could people plrease read the FAQ before posting the same questions over and over. Many of the queries we are getting are answered there (incuding the tube station).

I suggest making yourself familiar with the following sites:

www.tfl.gov.uk which has tube maps and www.streetmap.co.uk. All you have to do is go on the website of whichever attraction you want to visit, get the postcode, type it into streetmap and hey presto!

Guys, Paul Stewart here from the Bucs UK.

If you want to raise some money for charity, we can arrange for people to have their picture taken with the touch football trophy that we will have won earlier in the day. £1 a picture.

See you all on the 24th as our club meal is about 200 yards down the road from yours!

Ha ha, nice one Paul.

I wouldn't exactly liken an official Patriots event with 650 fans, Patriots cheerleaders and special guests to your "club meal" though.

Where you holding it again? ;)

Do they still have the red phone boxes in London? If so, I'm sure they could quite comfortably hold their "event" in one of them!

Another question RE the SC, what are they going to be like after it, as in, are they going to be happy with people staying after 10 but still in Pats gear or are we getting turfed out?

Is the 40 just the UK Bucs Fan Club, or does it also include people coming over from Fla.?

It's a sports bar so I reckon they'll be ok with us having Pats gear on.

It says in the FAQ everybody under 18 has to leave at 10 so I'm gathering from that the rest of us can stay for a bit.

Would really love to come to this. Every bar within a 2 mile radius of Euston Station seemed to be packed with football fans before last years game, which was great, but the sheer amount of Yankees caps/Jets shirts put me right off my Strongbow.

Well if you win the Touch football trophy you will have a better record than the Bucs have this season, 0-5 baby!

Hey HCT :)

Limavady hey! . I live in Newtownabbey just outside Belfast . Welcome to the site :)

Yes lad, how's the form?

I spent most of my (pretty hazy) first year at Queen's out at my mates' halls in Whiteabbey. That's pretty close, right?

Infact, thinking back, probably should have spent more time in around Queen's than out around Whiteabbey. That might explain my less than stellar exam results.

My brother and a couple of friends are coming over from Limavady (big Boston sports fans, they spent a year living out there), and as I'm over living in Manchester now, they assume I know London like the back of my hand.. thus I feel like I need to organise something for us to do Saturday night. This looks absolutely ideal.

Cool my mate lives in Manchester too and he is picking us up at Gatwick on the way to the party on the saturday night :D

Enjoy the site man

Everyone who bought their gameday tickets through UKPatriots and replied to Secret Seagull's email about the Saturday night party has their tickets sorted so no need to panic.

Thanks

James
