Folks,

We will be doing this once again. We are aiming to start for about 10am on the Sunday morning prior to the game and the venue will be close to Wembley if not right next to it on the power league pitches.

It will be 'in house' and we're looking for a tournament formats. So can we get a list of people interested and then we can work out ow we're going to structure everything.

Cheers,

Damo.

I'm thinking we can get teams in "interest groups", or "age groups". It's not about the fastest of fittest, but about joining in and making friends, and people usually make friends with those they who share their interests, or from a similar age group. I've suggested a few below, but please add any any more that you like, and we can also group people based on geography.

Therefore, when registering interest, the following will help us put people into teams.

Name - Age - Location - Preferred "Interest group"

Possible groups -

Gower Street residents (you know who you are)

Road Trippers / Social bunnies (previous attendees of UKP events)

Fantasy freaks (FF players).

Non-Pats (for your non-UKP friends to join in)

20-somethings

30-somethings

40-somethings +

Southeners

Northerners

Colonies (incl. Wales, Scotland, Ireland)

Me and my mate that im going with will be interested in this.

Name - Jake

Age - 18

Location - Manchester

Interest Group - Guess its Northerners :)

Also my mate same except hes called Bob and he is 19.

If we are playing against each other then maybe mix the teams up with say people with experience or playing like limited to 1 or 2 on a team, then a youngen, and olden, northerner and southerner maybe? make it fair as it can be if its fun :)

Howard, I don't think there's enough of us to make up a team, but I'm for it if you are.

That's okay, you don't have to have it if you think it will be that expensive! You are of course referring to yourself, are you not?

40-somethings + As there doesn't appear to be a pensioners category, I guess this one will have to suffice

Southeners I am a Southerner and I also know how to spell!

Northerners Northerner by virtue of the fact that I reside in the North of Enland

Colonies (incl. Wales, Scotland, Ireland)

I will happily fit in anywhere where there is a shortage of bodies.

For what its worth I might be there as a non-playing spectator. My days of running around are sadly gone  . But if I am there I will be cheering on the roadtrip team, having been on two RTs so far (almost too long ago to remember).

My possible teams...

....

Chelsea fan

Sorry - won't be attending

just wondering if there is going to be a game vs a Rams FC as there was against bucspower?

also wondering if there's going to be a pregame party the night before such as the last wembly appearance by the pats - if there is, flag football at 10am the following morning could be rather messy.

Will aim to be there, but only as a spectator - (sadly my playing days are well over...).

Come on Steve, you could join in with the oldies team, a man of your talents could even play QB

Has TBX3, fresh from his appearance as a zerbra at the Britbowl Flag Football Final, made an offer to ensure that rules are adhered to and if it is against a Rams team, will he be allowed to wear his Welker NEP shirt, or will that be seen as being a biased ref?

Well, I wish it was just my knees that were shot, but I'll still compete even if I have to use a zimmer frame!

We're looking at two options...

Outside Wembley stadium on the power league pitches for Sunday morning or at Regents park on Saturday morning.

We will let you know once it has been finalised.

Damien,

As much as Ben would like to participate, he has decided that there is too much that we want to see in London so please remove him from your list.

Hopefully the Sunday then as what with the stadium tour, UKPats party and the game itself, there's next to no chance of me getting three days off in a row! But I'm happy to go with whatever, even if it means missing out on the flag football.

Go on then. If the Gower Street boys need another body i'll give it ago this year :)

I suppose I may fall into that category. Plus what kind of fun would it be without the reigning MVP there!

If the cheerleaders are there to do the trophy presentation again, I'll be there to claim my MVP again!! :D

I'm in for this but only as a referee to sort out the inevitable carnage that will ensue.

Have seen a couple of other people venture referees (Markus). Maybe we can do two pitches if possible.
